An introduction to Inter Plaza Beach Hotel
Combining 5-star glamour with traditional Egyptian touches, Inter Plaza Beach Hotel is incredibly stylish. From the outside, it looks more like a fairytale mansion than a hotel with its whitewashed walls and detailed rooftops. What's more, it's set on its own private beach overlooking the Red Sea and the Sinai Mountains, so soft sands and spectacular views come as standard.
Step inside and it's more of the same. You'll be greeted by a ballroom-sized lobby featuring elegant arches and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the sea. And the bedrooms, decked out with neutral walls and wooden furniture, carry on the traditional feel. Modern touches come in the form of cable TVs and individual climate controls.
In terms of pools, there are a whopping eight in total – four large ones, one of which is heated, and four smaller kids' pools. They're all framed by gardens and terraces, too, plus a pool bar.
Talking of bars, the Inter Plaza has five altogether, including a beach bar and a cocktail lounge. You're just as spoilt for choice when it comes to food – there are six restaurants here, serving up everything from seafood to Indian cuisine.
Location-wise, meanwhile, this place is about an hour's walk – or a 10-minute drive – from Naama Bay's busy resort centre. So you can enjoy the relaxed setting, but are never more than a short taxi ride from all the action.
